FAQs

CoolSculpting is considered a safe procedure with minimal risks. It is an FDA-approved treatment for reducing fat in certain areas of the body.

Good candidates for CoolSculpting procedures are individuals who have noticeable fat bulges in specific areas that they’d like to reduce. It’s important for candidates to have realistic expectations and understand that CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution.

CoolSculpting can be used to treat areas like the abdomen, love handles, thighs, double chin, upper arms, and more.

During the CoolSculpting procedure, patients might experience sensations of cold, pulling, or mild discomfort as the cooling process begins. These sensations generally subside as the area becomes numb.

A CoolSculpting session typically lasts around 35-60 minutes per treated area. Multiple areas can be treated during a single session.

Common side effects include temporary numbness, tingling, redness, swelling, and bruising in the treated area. These effects usually subside within a few days to weeks.

CoolSculpting is not a weight loss procedure. It’s designed for targeted fat reduction in specific areas. It’s best suited for individuals who are already close to their target weight but have localized pockets of stubborn fat.
